New President New Hope

Greater Las Vegas Association Of Realtors will get a new president in Ms. Linda Rheinberger from tomorrow. She assumes presidency of the 14,600 strong association with which she has been association for the almost years.

She wants an expanded role for members of the organization outside the association in the community which they serve. A host of issues will dominate here tenure. She would like address issues such traffic concerns, education and most important the affordability of homes for all sections of the population.

She is very concerned that the Las Vegas long known for its affordable and cheap housing is now facing a situation where the low income groups and people like school teachers and bus drivers can't buy a home with their incomes.

Second issue she would like to address is educating the general public on the role of realtors and their importance and usefulness in real estate transanctions. Realtors being in the business of buying and selling homes know the pitfalls and positives in any real estate deal and can potentially save clients from disastrous decisions with their professional advice.

Many such issues will keep the new president occupied during her tenure.
